Speed without tension is the useful goal
Clicks per second can describe a short input burst, but most competitive games reward timing, accuracy, movement, and decision quality more than maximum clicking. A higher number is not helpful if grip tension or poor control breaks the next action.
Use short rounds and stop if your hand becomes uncomfortable. Do not turn a simple browser test into a long repetitive-strain session.
Three-step check
- 01
Relax your hand and place the pointer in the center of the panel.
- 02
Run one five-second round without changing grip halfway through.
- 03
Rest, repeat only a few times, and prioritize comfortable control over a peak number.
