What eDPI can—and cannot—tell you
eDPI multiplies mouse DPI by in-game sensitivity. It is useful for comparing two settings inside the same game, but it does not automatically make sensitivity portable between games with different yaw, field of view, camera behavior, or scoped multipliers.
The cm/360 estimate turns the setting into physical mouse distance. That makes it a better starting point for a hipfire conversion, but your final value should still feel controllable at the ranges and with the weapons you actually use.
Three-step check
- 01
Save the DPI and sensitivity you use now.
- 02
Compare the physical distance, then change only one value.
- 03
Test small corrections, wide turns, tracking and normal match movement before keeping it.
