How the conversion works

The tool first calculates the approximate physical distance required for a full 360-degree turn. For a yaw-based mouse model, that distance is 360 × 2.54 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw). It then solves the same equation for the target game. Keeping DPI in the calculation prevents a common mistake: comparing two in-game sensitivity numbers that use different mouse resolutions.

Why the same cm/360 can still feel different

Physical distance is only one part of perception. Field of view, camera placement, target speed, engagement distance, weapon behavior, and scoped views change what the same hand movement looks like. Use the converted value for a first test, not as proof that two games are mechanically identical.

A five-minute validation

  • Pick a repeatable target-switch route in the target game.
  • Test ten controlled repetitions without changing any value.
  • Record consistent over- or under-travel, not one miss.
  • Adjust by a small percentage and repeat on another day.
