No fake formulas. Hidden MMR systems stay labeled as hidden unless the developer publishes the method.
Season context. Distribution and reset behavior can change, so cross-season comparisons need caution.
A badge describes an outcome, not the whole player.
Choose a sample. One promotion or losing streak is noisy. Review a meaningful block of matches played in the same season, role, and queue context.
Pair result with behavior. Track one input you control—untraded deaths, objective arrival, resource use, or another game-specific decision—next to rating movement.
Keep the season boundary. Resets, distribution changes, party rules, and calibration can make two identical visible values represent different ladder contexts.
