Clutch explained
In tactical shooters, a clutch often means one player wins a one-versus-many round. In other games it can describe a decisive late play under pressure. Good clutching combines information, time, isolation, and composure. The player tries to turn one impossible fight into a sequence of smaller possible ones.

“He used the objective timer to isolate two duels and clutch the round.”
Why the term matters
Do not review only the final shot. Track how the player concealed information, changed position, and manipulated the clock.
Use it correctly
Competitive language is most useful when it makes the next action clearer. Give the location, timing, or resource state needed to support the term. Avoid using shorthand as a substitute for a complete call when teammates need more information.
