Frag explained
The word comes from early competitive shooter culture and remains common in phrases such as top frag, entry frag, and fragging power. A frag has different value depending on timing: an opening elimination, a trade, and a cleanup kill can all appear identical on a scoreboard while changing the round differently.

Why the term matters
Use eliminations with context—objective state, resources spent, and whether the advantage was converted.
Use it correctly
Competitive language is most useful when it makes the next action clearer. Give the location, timing, or resource state needed to support the term. Avoid using shorthand as a substitute for a complete call when teammates need more information.
